Naptime
Every 2nd day or so my girls don't take a nap anymore and they go to sleep at 7pm. I had to start doing this because when they do take a nap they don't fall asleep until 10pm. I find that it's a catch 22. When they do nap they are well behaved but the flip side is that they go to bed so late and I don't get a break. On the other hand if they don't nap they aren't very pleasant to be around (so so cranky) but they go to bed early and I get some time alone with Papa. Well it didn't take long today to figure out if they needed a nap or not. After lunch and after we finished our music homework, they snuggled on the couch with Papa and was asleep in minutes.

In other exciting news, we dislike our fishtank. The fish that live in there are EVIL. There are 2 fish bullies named Harp Harp and Lila who like to eat the smaller fish and has turned our tank into an uninhabited space that once roamed with small colorful fish (namely the triplet guppies, Marty the striped fishy and Rose the rose colored little guy). Well after months of picking on the smaller guys all that was left was Harp Harp and Lila and Papa's sucker fish. We didn't even like putting on the tank light in the morning in anticipation of the horror we might find from the night before. Anyhow it looks like we have a survivor in the mix. Papa was cleaning out the tank this morning and found Rose battered but still alive living in the small filter area. We don't know if we just saved her life by putting her back in the tank or if she purposely was trying to escape the tank of death like Nemo did.

And in even more exciting news....we are headed off to Disneyland. I know it's a crazy idea to go since my belly is ever expanding and I don't know how much walking I'll be doing (Papa jokes that we should get a stroller for 3 for me and the girls and he'll push us around). But we are so excited. Pee in our panties excited. The girls ask every morning if today is the day we head off to Disneyland. They are packing up their Princess dresses and we are headed out to California in about a month's time. Yahoo! Anyone know where I can find a maternity bathing suit in this small town?

Fun post! So much info!
1. Your girls can be so so cranky? I don't believe it.
2. I think Rose is doomed.
3. Yay for Disneyland! You guys are going to have so much fun!

That is the cutest photo EVER! It's amazing how parents can sleep so awkwardly, yet still protectivly hold the kids. Adorable.

What type are the bully fish? Are they blackish brown? We had the same thing happen when we were kids and the two bullies stayed alive for months without us feeding them! They were like mutants!

Disneyland? How absolutely fun! I can see you now in Frontierland chowing down on a smoked turkey leg and eating dozens and dozens of Mickey ears.

That is the sweetest! Gosh the girls are cute...

Disneyland! I think you'll do well since this is a smaller Disneyland. I saw an episode of John & Kate + 8 and they have amazing strollers at D-land! So...pop in with the girls. heheheh! Wow, I'm excited for you guys too! Can't wait to see the pics...It's been so long since we were there.. Can you let me know if it's an expensive trip? We're thinking of going as well. If not this year, perhaps next year when Keira is 4.

How's the belly??

Harp Harp (the ring leader) is orange and Lila is yellow. They look like goldfish but they aren't. I have no idea what type of fish they are. How do you get rid of fish that you don't like anymore? Besides the obvious of flushing them down the toilet.

put them in a bowl and leave them on someone's doorstep...then ring the doorbell and run away as fast as you can!

Let Tobi play with them and post the video on the blog, or just leave them in the tank and see how big they get before they jump out of the tank and you walk downstairs and step on one and start screaming.

OMG this was a funny blog; so desceptive from the super sweet picture!
Audrey, do you remember the crazy, ugly fish that we got free from the pebbles for Grandma's salt water fishes? It LIVED FOREVER! It even survived the ice storm when all the others froze & died! We even kept it in the dark basebent, alone and it STILL LIVED!
You are doomed! My boys would totally LOVE your destructive Harp Harp & Lila!!
p.s. I'll send you a belly FLATTERING swimsuit!

Yes Susan I remember that fish. The one that survived in DRY packaged pebbles. And we never fed it ever when it was in the basement and it lived forever. It's probably still alive somewhere....

Joyce called me last night to talk about that fish too. We all remember that crazy evil fish.

Hey Audrey! I DARE you to wear what Kaili suggested and add some mouse ears with black chunky platforms while you're in Disney and everyone will think that you're Minnie Mouse!! Maybe you can get into the Character Breakfast for free!!
