Almost there....

The concrete patio has been poured.  It still has to be glazed.  But the liner is in and we have two hoses filling the pool with water.   Very exciting!  Won't be swimming this weekend but hopefully the warm weather continues into September so we get to use the pool at least once.

Beach, BBQ and Fishing.  All in one afternoon.  Girls are so tired this morning.  All three slept in past 9am.  This must be a first.  Trying to enjoy the last bits of summer before school starts.

Exciting Progress

Sophia having front row seats to watch the action while munching on pizza.  Priceless!

Now that the fence is down....the deer are back.  Triplets!  So cute but Papa still chased them away.  They love to eat all our flowers and plants.

The gazebo is now half the original size.  They moved the support beams this afternoon.  Next week....excavation.

Seattle 2012

Quick family holiday to Seattle.  We crammed lots of stuff into 3 days and 2 nights.  First stop was the Pike's Market.  I always wanted to go there.  It was full of people, food and different smells and sights.

We had to take a photo in front of the first Starbucks location.

Next stop was the aquarium.  It was just ok.  We are spoiled with the Vancouver aquarium and I found the Seattle one a little small and not as well kept as the one in Vancouver.

We ate lots of yummy meals.  Mostly all were asian meals as per usual.  But we did manage to have breakfast at this French cafe.
Space Needle followed by hours at the Science Center.  There was a special exhibit of King Tut.  Quite spectacular.  All the artifacts that they uncovered and that are on display for the next few months.
Sophia looking at a replica of King Tut mummified.

 Butterfly exhibit was awesome.

Sophia's little legs were quite tired.  All our legs were tired.  So much walking.
Seattle Zoo is amazing.  So amazing.  We spent hours there.  Would go back there in a second.

Pictures from brunch with James' relatives from Korea.  That was not taken in Seattle.  This was today back at home.

More pictures from Seattle.  A little mixed up.
