Some pictures of Sophia because Haraboji asked. She loves playing catch with any ball. She has quite the arm too.

Happy Things
Saturday, July 18, 2009
It's been a Shrinky Dink kind of morning. Remember shrink plastic art? We've made so many keychains, bracelet charms, etc... Fun! Now our house is messy again.
Yummy, Haagen Daas ice cream. Yes, that's my 13 month old eating ice cream. Are you judging me? haha. All the rules go out the window with the 3rd kid. Who am I kidding...there were never any rules to begin with.
Enjoy the piano duet by Sophia and Papa.

Cherry Picking 2009
It's Cherry season once again. Big juicy sweet cherries. We got a whole bunch and thought of my mom who would have loved to pick them. Also thought of Shannon who would have made a pie with them. Unfortunately for the girls, I'm not, since I really am not a pie making mama. Pie eating mama is more like it.

Sunday Morning
Saturday, July 11, 2009
What a great quiet day we spent all together at home. A little arts and crafts outside for Alex and Rachel, Papa BBQing lunch, and Sophia showing off some of her tricks.
Where is your nose? Oh good girl, there it is!
Mansei! Don't know what it means exactly but it's a Korean expression and you put your arms up really high. Good girl Sophia!

Spa Afternoon
My neighbor treated the girls to a Spa Afternoon a couple of days ago. It was wonderful. First she got them a delicious orange smoothie drink to sip on the deck. While the mamas sipped on chai frappucinos. Then soaked their tired feet (running around and riding their bikes...phew...lead to tired feet) in warm water scented with mango suds. Then they got a foot rub with a lemongrass scented exfoliating cream. They giggled the whole time.Next up was chocolate covered strawberries and lemon squares. YUMMY! AND cool cucumber slices for their tired eyes (watching Scooby Doo is a lot of strain on the eyes!). They ate the cucumbers afterwards. Too funny. Seeing that this is the first time anyone had given them cucumbers for their eyes I explained to them what to do. But they told me that they already knew what to do since Sharpay and her mom go to the spa and they already saw that in the High School Musical movie.

They got their toes painted in pretty pinks and purples and then went for a dip in the pool. Like I've said before, I want to be six and live their lives! They had soooo much fun. Our neighbor has set the bar pretty high when it comes to pedicures now.

A Beautiful Gift
This is a gift from my dad. He gave it to me the last time he came to visit a couple of weeks ago. I love it. It's a mosaic that he put together one ceramic piece at a time. He cut each piece of the ceramic that went into the mosaic. So much time and effort went into this gift that I will treasure it always. I did pressure my dad into giving this to me. My parents told me about it while it was in the works and I kept on hinting that it would look great at my place. Thank you Dad!
Jump!
Who knew that you could take the balls which are meant to make a fort and transform them into boobies? Guess who's idea that was? (psssttt...the one in the polka dot dress!)
First Sophia tried and loved having boobs. She was very proud with her new assets.
Then Jaia gave it a try.
Alex was too busy making jewellery to participate in this silly game. But here she is earlier in the evening spelling her name with the balls.
Then Rachel tried it on for size. Come on we had to play this since it is a super hot day so we couldn't jump around on the trampoline. Yes, you heard that right. We got a trampoline! Super paranoid mama caved and got a trampoline. But a safe one. 8 feet wide with side nets and for one kid at a time.
