Camp Drop Off

 We had lunch with the girls yesterday.  They had already packed up and put everything they needed in my car.  They were so excited to go.  No nervousness at all.  I was the one with the bundle of nerves.

 We dropped off the girls at camp.  They reunited with their friends.  Claimed their bunks, put away their stuff and then ran off to play.  Leaving us basically just standing there.

We caught up to them again at one of their favorite spots.  Hammock village.  So we could give them one last hug and kiss.  And then we drove home in a very quiet car.  Can not wait until it is time to go and pick them up.

Mini Dance camp

 Mini dance camp ended this week for Sophia.  Sophia won a little award for Best Shuffle Step in Tap.  Very cute.

Hummingbirds Tonight

 So....before we put the kids to bed we noticed that there were a lot of hummingbirds feeding tonight.  At the same time!  So nuts.  I used to see the pictures on the hummingbird feeder packaging and thought OMG that would never happen.  They must have photoshopped the picture.  Just because the hummingbird is so territorial.  My friend who also loves hummingbirds told me to keep putting up more feeders.  I have two up right now.  I own maybe 7 feeders.  These two are my favorites but I am going to put up a third this weekend.  More and more keep coming.  I have to put new food out every two to three days.  That is 4 cups of syrup every few days.  Who is going to replenish the food when I come out east in August?  Seriously I need to get a hummingbird sitter.  lol

First week of July

 Canada Day BBQ.  We lined all the kids up to take a picture of them jumping in the pool.  I didn't catch that shot.  :(  And one of the kids got kicked in the head underwater because they were too close together to start.  Jeesh.  I felt so bad.

 Ribfest was amazing.  Just because I love this type of food.   Papa loves this type of food and so does the kids.  We got way too much meat that night.  So we had leftovers to take home.  And the ribs lasted us all weekend long.  I think we may be sick of eating too many ribs at this point.

 Then yesterday our friends invited us out to go sailing.  When we got out there, we ended up just using the paddle boards.  I got to go out on the sailboat with my friend while the kids stayed on the paddle boards.  Papa started up the bbq.  So we had fun on the beach.

 A & R finished their babysitting course this weekend too.  yahoo!  Their course ended Saturday at 4pm.  And they had their first job lined up by 4:30 pm that same day.  lol.  They looked after Silvano's two girls.  It was their first paying job.  They looked after the girls so well.
