 Dinner at a German restaurant tonight with James' parents and Uncle and Aunt visiting from Korea.  Felt like a relaxing summer evening.  Everyone had a great time.  We ate dinner, then walked along the lake and then ate more fruit.  James, me and the kids even had an ice cream cone afterwards.  A great night.

Inside our planter...

 we found 9 beautiful quail eggs.

 But...we scared off the mama quail on Friday night and have not seen her since.  Don't know if we should interfere or if she will come back or what?!!!!

We scared off the mama by hosing the whole planter down with water.  She flew out of there in a panic.  We didn't know that there was a nest in there.  We never hose it...it's on a drip irrigation system. But we were cleaning up the patio and was hosing everything down.  Now these eggs sit abandoned.  Ugh what to do.

Well, look's like we are going to try and hatch the quail eggs.  Yikes, wish us luck.  A heating blanket in a box covered with a plastic lid is what we are doing.
