Mandoo's Birthday

 Happy 1st Birthday Mandoo!  One year old already.  Now we can't use the excuse that you are 'just a puppy' when you jump up on people.  lol

 Apple slice with peanut butter and kibble sprinkles.  Yummy!

 We had a great time at this outdoor wine event.  We tried to dress as 'country' as we could.  The weather was perfect.  Had lots of laughs.

Beginning of another school year

Spa / Hairdresser Day

 Alex went for her first french manicure at the spa this weekend.  She loved it.  But best part is that she got to see first hand what happens at a spa.  Which means that she will take this knowledge to Polka Dot Perfect.  Awesome!

 She got orange pelligrino in a real wine glass. Super fancy.

 At the same time as the manicure, Rachel was right next door getting her annual haircut before the school year.

 Sophia's turn for her annual haircut.  She thought the head massage was enjoyable.  Look at her big smile.

 Pear smoothie and a chocolate macaroon to finish off our date afternoon.

Ashnola Fun

 We went to visit our friends at the Ashnola campground.  There was a special Pow Wow going on this weekend.  It was amazing to watch.  The clothing that they were wearing were incredible.  With eagle feathers, porcupine spikes, the colors, the fabrics.  The dancing at the pow wow was awesome too.  We had a great day/evening with our friends.  James and the girls said how much fun they had numerous times tonight while we were driving back in the car.  Wish we had a tent or a RV so we could have spent the night there.

 Sophia was really nervous at first riding her bike on the gravel uneven pathway.  But it didn't take long before she was racing around the campgrounds.  So proud of her.

 There was no shortage of food.  Kids had so much fresh air and ate lots of good food and then made smores over the campfire.  Good times.
