Christmas 2012

 Christmas dinner was good.  The kids all took turns being sick this Christmas week.  Starting with Sophia, then on Christmas day it was Alex.  Followed shortly by Rachel and Halmoni when we got up to the ski hill.  I think 8 days later now...it is safe to say that we are all OK now.  Not 100% but we can at least sit together and eat and actually finish our meal.

 The girls stayed in their Christmas pjs for 2 whole days in a row.  Cozy and maybe a little greasy..ha ha.

 Gingerbread house contest at the mall.  Girls won 3rd place!  3rd place got a $50 gift card to the mall.  Pretty awesome.  They are already planning what they are going to do next year.

Fun in the snow

 Pictures from our week.  It's papa's 41st birthday today.  We celebrated on Tuesday since he is working late tonight.  But he asked if we were going to do cake AGAIN tonight when he gets home from work.  haha.  What a baby. So yes, the kids will stay up late and wait to sing Happy Birthday and have him blow out candles.

 We celebrated Kaili's birthday last Friday.  Yeah!  Always fun to see her and her boys.  Yup, there are lots of candles on her cake.  She's a little older than 19 now.

Kids decorated a gingerbread house at the mall.  It costs $10 per family to enter in this contest.  All the funds go towards Raise a Reader and the kids all went home with free books.  So fun!

 Sophia in her ballet class.  She LOVES ballet.  Not like her sisters who were always a little shy dancing.

Those are the fun parts of our week.  Not the shots of the messy house, the endless laundry and the Stress I feel from the upcoming Holidays.  Sigh.

Christmas concert 2012

 Girls played a  Christmas duet of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".  I didn't think they were going to be ready.  Just last week, they had only put page one of two together.  But with military dad prompting them to practice every free minute of the week, they pulled it off.  It was perfect.  Brilliant little girls.

 Alex played "Deck the Halls".  It was lovely.

Rachel played "Silent Night" and it was beautiful.
I'm so lucky to have these sweet girls.  They practised a LOT and really wanted to put on a good show for the seniors.

 Butterflies and pumpkins?  Why not!  Soph had fun decorating her butterfly and painting her pumpkin.    We spent the afternoon carving pumpkins, eating kettle corn and joking around.  Then we ended the  evening eating yummy Indian food.  The girls can really polish off Butter Chicken and naan.
