Just some random photos before I start my ranting post.
I LOVE tulips in the springtime.
Sophia is on the move in our house now. Still haven't baby proofed anything.
She took off from me this morning while I was trying to get her dressed so I could go out to Walmart.
Pawning the sleeping baby off to her older sister so I could run around and try to organize our kitchen.
Naked Sophia in our messy family room.
Let me start by saying I feel very fortunate for my 3 monkeys and the fact that I get to stay home with them everyday. BUT....sometimes it is HARD being a stay at home mom. My own mother dislikes it when I complain to her about how tired I am and how hard it is on a daily basis but it's true. The thought of getting a job that will pay me money, where I get to dress up and act like an adult all day long is quite appealing. Especially after wiping Sophia's nose for the hundreth time, after breaking up a teary whiney fight with the girls and then having to change a poopy diaper. I mean all these things seem so much harder these days because it is spring break and the girls are stuck to me like glue AND the fact that Sophia has been a terrible sleeper the last week. The lack of sleep, the fact that I didn't shower this morning, the disaster state of my house, no groceries in the fridge, piles of laundry that need to be folded, the ever increasing junk drawers and closets that have accumulated are making me feel CRAZY! I would LOVE to just freeze the whole world for a week while I stayed awake. The first day I think I would just sleep and lazily read the piles of People magazines and newspapers that I want to read but never have time to read. Then I would tackle the mess in the house and the laundry and go grocery shopping and get everything that needs organizing organized. Yes, the more I think about this the better it sounds. Then I will actually get caught up and we can resume our lives in an organized manner once again. I saw on Oprah the other day about this guy that comes and cleans/organizes your space and tells you how to achieve this. Anyhow the only thing I got out of this show was a book he wrote that went something like...Is clutter making you fat? Because I think the clutter in my house IS making me fat. The more disorganized I feel the more I reach out for bad foods that make me feel distracted/happy for the moment. Like the 2 cupcakes I just gulped down (in hiding because they were the last 2 cupcakes and the girls would be MAD if they knew I ate them) before writing this post. I love my girls, I love staying home, I just wish there were more hours in the day or I could clone myself or I could win the 6-49 so I could hire someone to come help me.....Hey better yet, mom & dad, do you want to come out west anytime soon?

I totally agree with you... I would love to freeze the kids/hubby for a week or send them away so that I could have 1 week to actually clean up our messy home, put everything where it's supposed to be... what a wonderful dream. Then I think, how horrible to sacrifice 5 vacation days so that I can CLEAN UP!!
First off...Sophia's body is so so cute.
Second...I love that Alex and Rachel can hold their sleeping baby sister.
Third...I know exactly how you feel and I only have ONE child!!! AND he's pretty easy...but I still feel like freaking out sometimes.
I'll call you if Hudson wakes up at 3am tonight...I'm really really wondering how this whole going to bed at 6:30pm thing is going to play out.
Hey guys...
I feel like I am in mexico.
I still enjoy all vacation pictures. all more then 500a lots. Emagy sand all over, free lunch, and free drink...etc.
miss sopia a lot and all cuties. Have a nice days.
I wish another year go fast, and see you soon I hope.
Grandfa, i love you all.
p.s. Hey I forgot to comment on Spunky! She`s too cute! Her smile must melt your heart while you feel like you're having a meltdown...
((Audrey)) I think all SAHM feel that way at times.
You need to get J to babysit the kids a bit more so you can have more "you" time. Or time to hire a cleaning lady again...that would make life a little easier, no?
I am loving those nekkid shots of Sophia..too cute!! I can see her Mongolian spots on her tush..so cute!
Hi Audrey, I totally agree with you and after reading your blog, I feel that I am not the only one in the same situation - wanting to make money and dress up like an "adult". Had a rough week with the boys...at least your girls don't punch each other for FUN....I can't wait for the boys to leave our life and make their own Lives....I know I shouldn't say that...but right now I am allowed to vent.
As for the mess, I don't buy much of anything these days...no clutter in my house! Take care and I am actually dreaming of escaping with Jimmy to Portland, Oregon!
By the way, it was me, Christina P who left the last remark.....Miss ya and Love ya!
Sophia is getting so big!!! Cute little bum-bum!
Hey, I agree with you! I took a whiff of myself this morning and went P.U! No wonder Malcolm is having trouble breast feeding! His Mama reeks! But, that was after I spent 12 hours in the ER. Having kids is harrowing with the constant worrying. Yes, it is hard getting laundry and grocery shopping and all those mundane tasks completed. I think we all need magic powers like a genie and just nod our heads and the house would be clean and the laundry done.
hang in there. You are doing a great job!
Sorry but I have to laugh here. Your venting is kinda cute. lol. I only have a little idea of what it's like to stay home all day and take care of only 1 little sassy girl. It's called my Weekends. And it can be rough because there is no one else for 1 sassy little girl to play with, so it's up to me or Papa to play along. All day. No breaks. lol. All Papa and I want to do after a long week of rushing around, going to work and getting nothing achieved at home is lay down and rest. But life goes on and right now, I'm not old and want to enjoy playing.
Hang in there Audrey. You are a terrif mom! You really need to get hubby to "babysit" so you can get out for a breather. No offence to all the dads out there but seriously, kids stick like glue to their moms and it's exhausting! Have an Audrey-day soon. I'm gunning for ya.
btw: I love those nudie pics of Sophia! what a ham!
