Juicy

We spent the afternoon at an organic farm picking delicious strawberries. This is Sophia's basket AFTER we picked. It was so funny. Every strawberry went into her mouth. She was left with 2 in the basket.
The girls like wearing my shirts now. So they go into my dresser and pick out tops that they could wear. Crazy that they can wear my stuff at 8 years old. Joyce...I told them that your clothes would be more perfect on them...so be warned. haha
U-pick farms are fun.
Wow, look how many Halmoni picked! Oh ya, she also picked things that looked like 'namul'. When we went to weigh the berries, the guy asked if it was on purpose that we had lots of the 'namul' stuff. We said yes, that Halmoni wanted to cook with them and he totally was in agreement that they were edible. So we didn't think Halmoni was as weird anymore.

Juicy!

We ended this delightful afternoon with a stop at the ice cream shop. So yummy. Actually Alex and Rachel did not end up having lunch today. They filled up on strawberries in the field and then a huge ice cream on waffle cone. Everyone else filled up on japchae that Halmoni made for lunch. Being totally spoiled here.

LOVE those pictures! Looks like such a great day! What are you going to do with all those berries? Bake? Jam? Just eat them?

Love that last picture of Halmoni.

The rate the girls are eating them....don't know how much will be left over for jam!

Hee hee..looks like we went picking on the same day, but your farm look much nicer! I love that you have the option to pick organic. I wish we had that option here.

Looks like a lot of fun was had. :)
